1. Remove packaging

Remove all packaging from the rice cakes and noodles. Carefully open the cup and take out the individual packets. Discard any wrapping from the rice cakes and noodles to prepare for cooking.

2. ADD INGREDIENTS

Combine all ingredients inside the cup so the flavors can blend evenly during cooking. You’ll notice the rich aroma of the sweet & spicy seasoning begin to rise.

3. POUR HOT WATER

Pour 135 mL of hot water up to the marked line inside the cup. Use boiling water for the ideal texture and taste. Make sure the rice cakes are fully submerged for even cooking.

4. Place the lid

Place the lid loosely on the cup at a slight angle before microwaving. This helps steam escape safely while keeping the heat in for proper cooking.

5. Microwave

Microwave until hot and bubbly.

6. Stir well and serve

Mix thoroughly to combine the chewy rice cakes, springy noodles, and bold, spicy sauce. Let cool slightly (or rest for a saucier consistency), then dig in and enjoy the comforting taste of Korean street food at home!

Once your rapokki is fully cooked and stirred, place slices of mozzarella or processed cheese directly on top. Cover the bowl loosely with the lid and let it sit for about 1 min so the cheese melts perfectly and stretches.

Have some leftover pizza? Get the best of both worlds!
Cut up the leftover pizza into bite-size pieces (defrost in microwave if frozen). In a pot, boil the ramen noodles and rice cakes on high heat until the noodles are tender.

Drain excess water, and add the seasoning for a saucy consistency. Add the pizza to the pot and cook on low, gently stirring to ensure the pieces are covered in the sauce.

Sprinkle a handful of shredded cheese, and any desired toppings such as green onion or chili flakes if desired. Enjoy straight from the pot or dish up to serve!
